How many times have you wished running your home was as easy as the old television shows like, “Donna Reed” or “Leave it to Beaver”? All those scenes of pristine moms in the home with the perfect furniture and —oh, the clean carpet! The floors in those shows are so clean I could drop a wad of gum on it and not be afraid to pick it up and put it back in my mouth. I watched all of these shows growing up and I acquired the idea in my head that this scene could really be done on a regular basis. Fast forward my life to marriage and then several kids. My first two children taught me very quickly that there would be none of that Donna Reed nonsense going on in my home if I wanted to keep a shred of sanity…
