MX Player is one of the top choices for video player on Android platform. It supports all of the video file formats and it even has its very own codec library. The codec app available from Play Store is to help low-end Android devices and even outdated Android operating system to play and handle new format versions of videos today. MX Player from Windows Store
The Windows Store for Windows 8.1 and 10 has released an MX Player for PC. It was a good gesture considering that the Windows mobile platform has no good video player. The native video player is not very intuitive and crashes most of the time. The worst part is it only supports a handful of video file format.
The experiences regarding the MX Player that comes from the Windows Store are not really saying many positive words. It’s been reported as laggy and crashing frequently. Sometimes it won’t even open.
Hopefully, future updates will be released and the concerns properly handled and addressed. The developers of MX Player should consider the fact that their app is needed in the community not just on Android but also to other platforms.
Thoughts on MX Player
MX Player has been reviewed by many mobile users. It was even branded as “Editor’s Choice”. Compared to other popular video players, MX Player delivers a smoother and minimal to zero lag when playing different video formats. And if your CPU hardware supports even the most intensive file format such as Matroska or .MKV, the MX Player will give the most satisfying performance with a very user-friendly interface.
